Troubleshot LLC ("Troubleshot", "we", "us") provides an industrial troubleshooting platform. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our marketing site (troubleshot.io), documentation (docs.troubleshot.io), and the application (app.troubleshot.io).

Information we collect

• Information you provide. When you request a demo or contact us, we collect your name, work email, company, role, and any message you send. When you use the application, we store the account and operational data you enter (such as symptoms, faults, solutions, and locations).
• Authentication data. We store your email and a securely hashed password. We never store passwords in plain text.
• Technical data. We process standard request metadata (such as IP address and user agent) needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the platform.
• To respond to demo requests and support inquiries.
• To secure the service, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us operate the platform (for example, our hosting and email infrastructure provider, Cloudflare), under appropriate confidentiality obligations, or when required by law.

Data storage and security

Application data is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure (D1 and R2). Passwords are hashed using PBKDF2. We apply role-based access controls and transport encryption (HTTPS). For customers requiring data residency or isolation, we offer custom hosting on a dedicated PostgreSQL database (on-premises or in a private cloud) — contact us for details.

Data retention

We retain account and operational data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Demo and contact submissions are retained for follow-up and record-keeping. You may request deletion of your data at any time.

Your rights
